Does MODTRAN take into account the multiple scattering for the transmittance calculation along an horizontal path?

0

Explanation/Resolution: Multiple scattering is only calculated for the “Radiance with Scattering” mode. It is not calculated for the transmittance mode. Multiple scattering accounts for the contribution to the path radiance from photons that have been scattered more than once before being scattered into the view path.
