Yes. See Letter from a Birmingham Jail. He was in jail for civil disobedience and wrote a letter to some White ministers who disapproved of him. Be careful, though, Dr. King was stringent. It has to be non-violent and it has to leave open the possibility of the oppressors recognizing a shared humanity in you or their victims and changing. The goal is to change hearts. At least, that’s the Dr. King.
