No. Mitotropin does not completely abolish oxidative phosphorylation nor does it generate high levels of reactive oxygen species resulting in cellular necrosis. In fact, Mitotropin increases uncoupling proteins which actually have potent antioxidant properties which may decrease oxidative stress.
