Does missing link found in Germany prove humans never evolved in Africa?

The Primate found in Germany, is just that–an old primate. While we are descendants from the primate order, that does not mean that we are direct ancestors of every primate. We are descended from a very specific line of primates, and do not know or have proof of what primates are in that line. The “missing link” represents the line of many, many primates that form our ancient descendance, and is not any single animal. The primate found in Germany may or may not be an actual ancestor of humans, there is no way to tell at this point because we do not have samples of primates before and after it in development. Also, evolving out of Africa is not in question. There is proof of it. What is not fully understood is in what order, when, in what directions etc. we moved out of Africa and into the rest of the Old World. This didn’t necessarily happen when we were more formed, or closer to our present appearance than the specimen found in Germany.

agree with soldier of fortune in that this supposed missing link proves nothing except it maybe an extinct species of arboreal primate and nothing to do with the human species.
