Does Mirko “Cro-Cop” Filipovic Have Anything Left In His Tank?
Mirko “Cro-Cop” Filipovic has had a storied career that encompasses many different organizations and has lasted an astounding fourteen years. Unfortunately, his last few performances have led many to believe that the Croatian anti-terrorist officer has seen his best days gone by. One person in particular is convinced that Filipovic can still perform at a high level. That man is none other than Junior Dos Santos. We are a mere four months removed since Dos Santos sent Cro-Cop home with another loss in the UFC. Even though Cigano was the victor, he says that Cro-Cop gave him his toughest fight inside the octagon. In an interview given to Brazilian MMA portal Terra Magazine that was translated by Fighter’s Only , Dos Santos stated that Cro-Cop gave him a lot to worry about leading up to their bout at UFC 103 in September.
