• i have problem connecting msn messenger with vista business and broadband connection Windows Live Messenger is the successor of the older MSN Messenger. You should try installing Windows Live Messenger 8.1 which is compatible with Windows Vista. • What version of messenger can run with windows vista business I use Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Messenger 8.0 runs for me. If all else fails, right click Messenger.exe, properties, Compatibility, Run with Windows XP SP2 • Since getting a new computer, Windows Vista, I can’t seem to get into my MSN Messenger. I have a new computer and I have finally been able to get my Yahoo messenger back up and running. Now I am having trouble with MSN which apparently is Windows Live Messenger on this computer.
