Michael reads a good deal of mail. Since it is not possible for him to read every letter sent to him and because he is unable to write back, he has a Fan Relations staff that deals with mail, website stuff, and other crazy odd jobs around the office. It is important to Michael that every letter is read so, yes, they read every letter. They respond and keep Michael informed of what people are writing. They will give him mail to read as his schedule allows.
