Does MHS have a dress code?
Yes, we do have a dress code at MHS. We recognize that student dress and grooming practices can affect the health, safety, and general welfare of all students. We have provided an abbreviated list below. However, for a more detailed explanation of our dress code policy and the consequences or violating our policy, please refer to the Student Handbook. The MHS dress code “dos and don’ts” include, but are not limited to the following: • We do not allow any clothing or the manner in which a student wears his/her clothing that is disruptive to educational activities. • Please wear shorts, skirts, or dresses at fingertip length or below. • We do not allow sagging pants/shorts or low hugging pants. • Properly hem your clothing. • We do not allow bare midriffs, halter-tops, tank tops, spaghetti straps, Spandex as outerwear, and see through clothing.
