Does Metra replace or refund tickets?
No refund or replacement ride will be permitted when tickets have been lost, destroyed, stolen or unaccounted for on the day of travel. The form required to initiate a refund for unused or partially used tickets can be found here or can be obtained from a ticket agent at any downtown station. They will gladly forward the completed form to Metra’s Revenue Accounting Department for processing. Refunds are based on the date they are received by the agent, or, if mailed, the date of the postmark. Refunds cannot be made on any ticket past its period of validity.
