Does Metagenics manufacture according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards?
Metagenics manufactures its products in strict compliance with GMP. In addition, we are engaged in the audit process for NNFA certification. We have completed the process for our manufacturing plant and are now finishing up the packaging facility. NNFA is a valuable certification but we are not stopping with NNFA GMP certification. We are backing up the NNFA GMP certification with the more rigorous NSF GMP certification which will be completed following the completion of the NNFA certification process. We are also going through the TGA certification process to comply with Australian GMP standards. Other companies may also obtain certification by NNFA or NSF. If they are certified it means that they manufacture according to GMP (good manufacturing practice). This means that they will most likely have in the product what they say they have on the label.
