Mercury Internet Phone Service will work on most high-speed (broadband) Internet 2-way DSL or cable modem connections. The download and upload bandwidth is very important. The upload bandwidth must be a minimum of 128 Kbps per phone call. Additional data traffic on the upload or download during a call can affect the voice quality. This service does not work on dial-up connections.
