You must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 to teach elementary school. If you are an Alternate Route, middle school or secondary subjects teacher, you must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5. MCS has a strict GPA policy, and your GPA will be verified through your official transcripts, which must be submitted to our office before you can be hired. Please report your cumulative undergraduate GPA accurately. Misreporting could result in your not being approved to teach, even if a principal recommends you for a position.
