Does MCWFN have an office in Nepal?
Yes, MCWFN now has two offices with an eventual aim to have three. The main office is in Kathmandu, from here contact with all the main government and educational organisations is maintained. The second office is in Tansen, West Nepal, which is where most of the major project work is currently underway. The third office will be in East Nepal and will be used for project work in that region. The main function of the office network is to improve communication amongst the MCWFN volunteers and for the offices to act as communication hubs for the schools to have telephone and internet access, neither of which are available in the schools, yet.
