McGill no longer offers a one-year Diploma in Education. This program was discontinued and replaced with a 4-year Bachelor of Education degree. Students with previous degrees may be granted advanced standing depending on their previous studies, and the particular BEd program they enter. Students must complete a minimum residency requirement of 60 credits at McGill in order to qualify for a McGill degree.
