No it does not. Matrox RT.X2 will give you accelerated encoding to MPEG-2 for DVDs but it does not offer any Blu-ray Disc acceleration. If you are using a faster Core i7 machine and you plan on going from HD to H.264 for Blu-ray Disc, Flash or video on the web, the time you save encoding with MAX technology will be greater than the real-time performance of the RT.X2. Once again, if you shoot HDV and you have an older computer that is not as powerful, adding the RT.X2 is a great way to increase your productivity and make your Premiere Pro CS3 or CS4 editing more efficient.
