Does Maritime offer career guidance and internship assistance to students?
Yes. In addition to each student being assigned an academic advisor, the Career Services office offers advice and help with preparation for students to enter the job market or secure an internship. Q: What companies hire Maritime graduates? A: Maritime graduates enter the maritime industry and beyond. Career Fairs take place on campus throughout the academic year. Many Maritime alums work for companies that recruit Maritime students, so it is possible to make valuable industry connections through career fairs or internships. Q: I’d like to take a tour of Maritime College. Can I do this without my son or daughter? A: Campus tours are available Monday through Friday at 10am or 2pm. Please call the Office of Admissions at 718-409-7221 to schedule an appointment. You should bring your son or daughter with you for the tour, so that they have the opportunity to see the school firsthand.
