. Yes, put them in the general subdirectory of the MAMEoX root directory. It should be there already. Place your cheats.dat file in this directory. Make sure cheats.dat is _not_ zipped. Also, you may enable/disable the cheat function on the “General” page of the options menu (press START and select “Options Menu” to get there.
