Does Major League Baseball need to change its inclement weather rules for the postseason?

It just seems like the City of Philadelphia and the fans never get the absolute break they need to get the job done THE right way. There’s ALWAYS something which comes up – to louse things up! After last night’s debacle at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, I think something should be done to correct the situation. The commissioner AND the umpires had every right to call that game after 4 innings, BUT A WHOLE LOT of advertisers put up A WHOLE LOT of money for the game NOT to be called. Last night was “the perfect storm” for the Rays. Other than an adjustment in the money spent for the advertising, I don’t have a clue what the solution should be. HOWEVER I KNOW money from the advertisers had A WHOLE LOT to with continuing the game until it was tied. Thanks for asking your Q! I did my best to answer it. I hope the information helps. VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: Some personal observations and opinions.
