DOES MAJOR GUARD OFFER ANY RENTAL REIMBURSEMENT OPTIONS?
The GM Protection Plan will pay the cost to rent a replacement vehicle or pay for public transportation while your car is being serviced. The limit is 35 dollars per day and a maximum of $185 per visit if the vehicle is accepted for repairs or services covered by the GM Major Guard contract. The total dollar limit per vehicle will be increased to a maximum of $280 if the repairs are delayed due to a parts delay. MAJOR GUARD-covered repairs require (as does GM New Vehicle Warranty Coverage) 2.0 or more of manufacturer’s labor time guide hours or cause your vehicle to be inoperable and kept in the repair facility overnight.
