Does Maddie ever consider selling the agency?
Other than the pilot episode, Maddie considers selling the agency two more times in the series. In the second season episode, “Atlas Belched”, she does sell it to the competition, Lou LaSalle, for a tidy sum, but finds that her old lifestyle isnt exactly what she wanted. At the end of the episode, Lou sells the agency back to Maddie in exchange for a case of his biggest client. In the third season episode, “It’s a Wonderful Job” Maddie fantasizes about selling the agency when the office is angry with her for working during the Christmas holiday. In this spoof of the movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” Maddie’s guardian angel shows her what life would be like if she had indeed sold the agency.
