If the patient applies and meets the MA eligibility criteria (see below), MA may cover all or part of the inpatient care if the hospital is a participating provider in the MA Program and accepts MA reimbursement. Patients are responsible for their inpatient charges, and for co-pays and deductibles, where applicable.
