Does LSE welcome applications from candidates who wish to take a “Gap Year” between School and university?
Yes, especially if applicants devote their gap year to activities that enhance their ability to benefit from and contribute to the School. However, the Department strongly prefers to consider such applications not in advance but early in the gap year itself. At that stage, details of all the candidate’s actual examination results and other qualifications will be available.
