The location has no influence on the performance of the SAP NW PI system. However network considerations (e.g. limited bandwidth) might have an impact on the end-to-end-processing time. There are examples where the customer has production plants in 3 different locations and all the systems are integrated using SAP NW PI. In each one of the locations very high volumes of messages are processed.
