No. Macrovision is a copy protection technology that applies to the analog video outputs of DVD players. Kaleidescape has a Macrovision license from Rovi Corporation and our products have been tested and approved by Rovi Corporation. That license and certification enable Kaleidescape to apply the Macrovision copy protection technology to a movie player’s analog video outputs. This has nothing to do with making a digital copy of the information on a DVD disc.
