Does Living Under An Authoritarian Socialist Dictator In The UK…?

I feel sympathy for the people in unelected dictatorships, and you can add Burma (Myanmar) to the list. Gordon Brown might act like an elected dictator and his government might well be messing up the country worse than any other government would but, so far, he hasn’t done anything to destroy the democratic process, though I think some Labour policies have harmed it. Fortunately, by June next year at the latest, we will have the opportunity to vote him and his government out of office. The people of Cuba, North Korea and Burma do not have that opportunity.
