Does LiveAtUNTHSC offer junk mail and virus protection?
Yes. LiveAtUNTHSC offers advanced spam and virus protection. This protection only works when you’re using the web interface, however, so please take extra precautions when using an email program such as Thunderbird or Outlook to check your mail. You need to turn on the Junk Mail filtering option in the web interface if you wish to use it. You can use the options to block senders or designate safe senders. (Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is required to complete the below process.) · Go to http://mail.live.unthsc.edu/ · Sign in using your student email address and password. · Click on Mail · Click Options · Click Security, and then select your filtering options.
