Does liquid foundation last long on face than powder foundation?
In my experience, there is no difference. What can make a difference is using some kind of primer and/or setting powder. Laura Mercier makes a good primer, and so does Arbonne (called “personalizer”). These help create a barrier between the oils on your face and your makeup. Also, a setting powder can help (again, Laura Mercier’s is famous for being a good deal). However, as far as setting powder goes, I just use cornstarch. It leaves no residue (unless you have very dark skin — then I’m not sure) and is very inexpensive. Just tap some out and use a makeup brush to apply a fine layer. You won’t feel it and it will help absorb oil.
