Does Lingo charge customers the Federal Program Fee?
The Federal Program Fee is associated with the costs to administer Federal Programs. These programs include Telephone Relay Service Fund (TRS) that supports facilities & services used to provide telecommunications services for individuals with hearing/speech disabilities. This fee also includes recovery for federal regulatory fee assessments and administrative costs. The fee is as follows: $1.48 or 5.9%, whichever is greater for residential accounts. $2.49 or 5.9%, whichever is greater for business accounts.
