Does Lewisville plan to use pesticide spray for mosquito control?
Pesticide spraying is not planned at this time. The Texas Department of Health is recommending an emphasis on source reduction and personal protection. Spraying has an extremely limited impact on the mosquito population killing a small percentage of mosquitoes it comes into contact with at the time of spraying while at the same time posing health effects for some individuals.
