Does Levaquin cause joint pain?
I have taken Levaquin a number of times for bad upper respiratory infections and different things and I have never had that adverse reaction. As a nurse I have administered numerous the drug to my patients and I have never had them complain of that certain adverse reaction. That DOESN’T mean that it did not cause you to have that reaction. Everyones bodies are different as you know and we all react different to medications. My concern is that you still have the joint pain after 6 weeks post therapy. You truly need to see your physician and let him run some tests. It may not even be related to the Levaquin and just was a coincidence that it started at the same time you had the UTI. Regardless that is far too long for this to be going on. Good luck and I am sorry I could not answer your question any more in depth that I did but this is something a doctor needs to evaluate.
