Does LEPA have lower AAR?
NO. LEPA has an extremely high AAR – it is applying a normal full sprinkler flow of water to a very small area (about the size of your hat). This is not an issue provided you incorporate appropriate water holding strategies into your practices to ensure water remains where it is placed. Some strategies include furrow dyking, using soil cracks, stubble retention, increased soil surface roughness, etc.
