No. We are not in the business of reselling. Why should I spend the money? I could just do an application when I plant. You can do that, but the average application cost at the time of planting is $15.00 an acre. Our services amount to less than 1/3 of that. So your service saves me money? Yes and we hope to make you money. If we can correct a problem in time, your fields will most likely produce more which will mean more money for you. What do you do when crop scouting? Check fields for Plant Populations, Weed ID, Severity Insect Pest Management, Disease Management, Nitrate Testing, Stand Ability, and Yield Estimating. What do I get from your soil sampling? Independent Testing and Recommendations, GPS Soil Sampling, Nutrient Level Maps and Recommendation Maps. How soon will I get soil samples back after inspection? Usually in 7-10 days. LEE CROP CARE recommends sampling a field a year in advance to avoid being rushed into making application decisions. I’m new to the scouting business.
