Here is what you should and should not do with your laptop battery: 1. charge it when it needs charging 2. avoid using the laptop plugged in ALL THE TIME. It will kill your battery much quicker. 3. Avoid 100% discharges. Once in awhile is fine but not all the time. 4. No matter how you care for your battery, after 1 year you will notice the battery just doesn’t last as long. I think the stuff you posted was for old cellphones.
