Does Lavender and Tea Tree Cause Gynecomastia?
Gynecomastia is a condition that afflicts men and young adolescent boys. It is a physical condition wherein one or both breast grow bigger than usual, to the point of resembling a woman’s breasts. Of course, there are different scenarios, and not all men reach this extreme stage; some may have mild cases where there is hardly a visible increase in the breast area. It does occur in over 40% of all males which makes it a very common problem. There is one common mistake that many make when they see a male with enlarged breasts. They automatically assume they have an abnormal condition (not many are familiar with the medical term, gynecomastia), and tend to either laugh or pity the poor fellow. However, in many cases, it isn’t even a medical condition, but a problem with weight and possibly, obesity. This is known as pseudo-gynecomastia. Breast reduction cannot be treated with anything other than diet and proper exercise. That is, unless you decide to get cosmetic surgery like liposuction
