Does latex protect against heat/cold?
No. Latex does NOT have any isolating properties. Please consider, that the closer the clothing, the less sweating is possible. But sweating is important. Evaporation of the sweat helps the body to keep its temperature. If evaporation is impossible, body temperature can rise. Another reason for not wearing latex clothing too long. Keep this information in mind when you are in very warm/cold locations. General information: avoid extreme changes in temperature, esp. from warm to cold – danger of coming down with a cold. Bring warm clothing to parties for your way back or to change in between.
