Does LaserShield® work with VoIP or digital phone service?
Instead of connecting the LaserShield to the phone line provided by your VoIP or digital phone service, You’ll connect the LaserShield to your internet router by using a Sparrow internet adapter (sold separately). Unfortunately, LaserShield won’t reliably communicate with the emergency response service if connected directly to phone lines provided by VoIP or digital phone services. But all you need is a Sparrow, and your system will use the internet to report alarms to the emergency response service. The LaserShield Sparrow can be purchased through dealers and some retailers.
