Does Landmark Medical Center Offer Any Assistance Program?
Yes. Landmark offers an Uncompensated Care/Reduction Program, along with the services of a Public Assistance Advocate. Uncompensated Care Patients who exceed the income guidelines for public assistance may be eligible for a charity allowance if the following conditions are met: • Total household income does not exceed federal poverty guidelines. • Total outstanding debts exceed patient’s ability to pay. An Uncompensated Care application must be completed and returned to the Credit/Cashier Department at the Woonsocket Unit. (Uncompensated Care Applications are available at the Credit/Cashier Department, Admissions Office, and Outpatient Registration.) Documentation of total household income is necessary to determine eligibility. • Patients whose household income exceeds the federal poverty guidelines may qualify for a reduction.
