Does L-Edit extract parasitics as distributed or lumped?

0

Currently, L-Edit extracts interconnect parasitic as a lumped capacitance. The capacitance is calculated from the interconnect layer to the substrate and does not take into consideration shielding effects of intersecting layers. With HiPer PX product (schedule to release in 2008) you can extract distributed nature of parasitic resistance and capacitance of IC interconnects.
