The KVM2Ethernet was designed for Gigabit Ethernet, meaning that a Gigabit Ethernet interface is required on the target computer for optimal performance. KVM2Ethernet will also work with older 100BASE-T Fast Ethernet and 10BASE-T network interface cards, but with a reduction in its performance. If transferring images over the web, the KVM2Ethernet’s performance will depend heavily on the available bandwidth.
