Does Kodak recommend using a cartridge warmer?
No. A cartridge warmer may expose the cartridge to heat outside of the recommended storage temperature range. See the storage guidelines in the Cook-Waite Anesthetics Prescribing Information. • Can the cartridge be sterilized? Kodak does not recommend exposing the cartridge to chemicals or heat sterilization because both processes can breakdown the cartridge components. See the guidelines in the Cook-Waite Anesthetics Prescribing Information for sterilizing the diaphragm before inserting a needle. • Can the cartridge be refrigerated? No. Storage temperature guidelines are printed on the can and in the Cook-Waite Anesthetics Prescribing Information. • Can anesthetics be used past the expiration date? No. Kodak does not recommend using this product past the expiration date.
