A. KnowEdge allows submitted essay papers to be modified by the student. Such modification should be within the deadline set by the instructor. The way this is monitored hinges on the date and time shown in the header of a submitted paper. When a modification is made, the former date and time will be replaced by the current date and time. Thus the instructor is able to know whether the deadline has been exceeded. Submitted non-essay papers cannot be modified because such a paper is automatically and immediately marked by the program with the scores in aggregate and percentage point shown at the end of the paper.
