Does Kern County offer preference to veterans?
To be considered for veteran’s preference, the veteran must submit evidence of at least 90 days of consecutive service during specified time periods as well as honorable discharge. Disabled veterans (10% or more) may be entitled to additional credits if they can verify that they are currently receiving compensation for service-connected disability.
