Does Kenya Have A Thriving Economy?
If recent developments are taken into consideration Kenya is working towards making its economy one of the leading ones in Africa. Even today, it is one of the leading economies in the eastern part of Africa. When Kenya got freed from the clutches of colonialism, they started the policy of public investment to catalyze the economic growth. The country also offered incentives to promote private industrial investment, mostly from foreign countries. And the result was there to see; in the first two decade the gross domestic product of the country grew with an annual average of 6.6%. Agricultural production also sang the same tune with an annual growth of 4.7 %. However, owing to inappropriate policy decision, the growth of the country declined and it started facing adversity.
