Does Kent State offer any Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) training?
Yes. In an online training module, participants can learn what is required to be in FMLA compliance when an employee requests an extended leave. All university supervisors, managers, executives and their support staff will be expected to complete the online training. Once the training is complete, participants will then attend a one-hour, in-person session that will review relevant Kent State policies pertaining to the FMLA and the proper procedures to follow. Employees who are part of the target audience should have received an e-mail from Human Resources containing instructions on how to access the online training.
