Does Kelly Kelly Deserve All This Hate?
I believe she’s deserving of the negativity. Let’s go through Kelly Kelly’s career, shall we? May 2006: WWE contacts Kelly’s modeling agency. They invite her to Ohio Valley Wrestling to TRY OUT, even though she’s never had ANY wrestling experience whatsoever. Obviously, she got through because of her looks. I can tell you right now that if Katie Lea Burchill went to a try-out without her having any wrestling experience, she would have been booted straight out. Despite Kelly’s obvious lack of wrestling ability, she was signed to a contract to become a wrestler. She was called up to the main roster in WWE, but continued to fly back once a week to Kentucky for more training and shows. She started as a referree and moved on to wrestling. I do have to give her credit there because it’s hard traveling like that back and forth every week. But that’s about where the credit stops.
