Does kBay do anything to prevent auction sniping?
You bet! We hate snipers as much as the rest of them. To combat this horrible form of online bidding, any auctions that are bid upon within the last 15 minutes before they close will automatically have their end date pushed back to 15 minutes in the future. This way, as long as people are bidding on your auction, it will never end! Thus, listers are happy since their auctions sell for more, bidders are happy since they don’t have to sit there madly bidding at the last possible second, and snipers are… well, snipers aren’t happy. Deal.
