Does JUTE Theatre accept unsolicited scripts?
JUTE Theatre is strongly committed to new regional works, and seeks to develop playwrights and plays from regional Australia.Once a year JUTE Theatre accepts scripts for development through the company’s award-winning Enter Stage Write program. Depending on funding, up to 15 regional writers are taken into the program, and up to four Enter Stage Write plays a year will be offered a production season.So the company does not accept unsolicited scripts throughout the year, as we are committed to developing scripts through our Enter Stage Write program.
