Does just any form of social or political change constitute a revolution?
-the true revolution has to bring about liberation from oppression and promote the constitution of freedom. -the proper revolutions should be progressive. They have to do away with the worst abuses, the worst inefficiences of the old regime; they have to increase government efficiency. What can be improved by a revolution? 1. The form of the state if the existing one justifies this act by a deficiency. 2. The economy of a people, but only in a slow, careful reforming of the existing operation of the economy… and 3. A revolution, all in all, is only sustainable by the renewal of the moral force of a people through the exclusion of habitual moral and economic corruption.
