Does JTI organize unsolicited lotteries?
No, JTI does not organize unsolicited lotteries. If you have been contacted by an individual or an organization claiming to be associated with JTI or one of JTI’s brands, informing, usually via e-mail, that you have won a prize and requesting you to provide some personal information and/or to send some money in order to collect your prize, please be informed that such a message was not issued by JTI and that high chances are that it is a scam. JTI has never asked nor will it ever ask members of the public to provide personal information and/or to pay any amount of money, in order to collect a prize allegedly won in a lottery. Please be also informed that JTI has alerted the relevant authorities in the countries where these e-mail frauds take place or affect JTI’s brands. If you receive an e-mail corresponding to the above description, please do not respond to the sender and contact your local authorities.
