Yes. Cadet Command requires us to conduct a formal event (Military Ball) and enter our teams in competitive events. Unfortunately, neither the US Army or the school system provides us any money to carry-out this requirement. That is why we have fundraisers. Participation in our fund raisers is voluntary and has no bearing on your grade. However, if you do participate in the fund raiser, and make your sales goal, your entry into the Military Ball is free. You may even get your date admitted free. That could save you $15 – $30.
